What is Parents as Teachers?
PAT is a parent education program available to all parents who are expecting or have a child under the age of five. All services that are offered are free to all families who join!
What services are offered?
- Personal Visits: a parent educator will share age-appropriate child development and parenting information, help you learn how to observe your child, and address any parenting concerns.
- Group Connections: opportunities to share information about parenting issues and child development, parents learn and support each other, observe your children interacting with other children, and practice parenting skills.
- Screenings: Free screenings assess your child’s overall development in health, hearing, and vision.
- Resource Networks: provide you with resources offered in our community.
